Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: April 26, 2026

Bleauxhorn Ventures is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to our website.

1. Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, cognitive, and motor impairments.

Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act references WCAG 2.0 Level AA as its technical baseline; conforming to WCAG 2.1 AA satisfies that requirement and adds coverage for mobile and low-vision use cases introduced after WCAG 2.0.

2. Measures We Take

To support the standards above, this site is built with the following practices:

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (header, main, nav, footer) and a single h1 per page
  • A "Skip to main content" link that becomes visible on keyboard focus
  • Full keyboard operability for all interactive elements, including the contact form, mobile menu, and modal dialogs
  • Visible focus indicators on every focusable control
  • Color combinations that meet or exceed a 4.5:1 contrast ratio for body text and 3:1 for large text and UI components
  • Form inputs associated with label elements and supplemented with descriptive helper text and error messaging
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion system setting — animations are reduced or removed when requested
  • Images and decorative icons given appropriate alt text or marked as decorative

3. Assessment Methodology

Bleauxhorn Ventures evaluates accessibility through:

  • Automated checks on every code change using axe-core and pa11y in our continuous integration pipeline — failures block merges to the main branch
  • Manual keyboard navigation and screen reader spot-checks during feature development
  • Periodic Lighthouse audits for performance and accessibility regressions

Self-assessment is performed by the Bleauxhorn Ventures engineering team. We have not yet commissioned a third-party accessibility audit; if we do, we will update this statement to reflect the findings.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content or interactions may not yet fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

  • Third-party embedded content (for example, analytics scripts) may not be under our direct control and may not meet the same standards
  • Newly published content is reviewed against accessibility checks before release, but issues may occasionally slip through automated tooling

If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, we want to hear about it.

5. Feedback and Reporting Barriers

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us:

When reporting an issue, please include the URL of the page, a description of the problem, the assistive technology and browser you are using, and (if possible) a screenshot. We aim to acknowledge feedback within five business days and to provide a remediation plan or fix within thirty days, depending on the complexity of the issue.

6. Formal Approval of This Accessibility Statement

This statement was prepared on April 26, 2026 based on a self-evaluation by Bleauxhorn Ventures. It will be reviewed and updated as the site evolves and at least annually.
